New Security Truck

I understand that the Cove’s new security vehicle is a V-8. Considering the current gasoline/environmental problems that the U.S. is experiencing, is this a PRUDENT choice? What are we saying about our concerns for the environment? We are giving the impression that we don’t care!

In addition, with a mileage differential(compared to a 4 cylinder) of 6 to 8 mpg, this choice has added several thousand $$$$ to our operating costs and assessments over a 1 year period.

In order to determine the true cost of the vehicle, the additional cost of gas should have been added. I think, the truck would have then been a $10K+/- 7 year old vehicle!
