This is a great site for Cove residents to express their concerns, submit ideas, offer kudos or complaints. The Update is controlled by our Operations Manager and the Chairwoman of the Board.
My last submission was drastically revised and cut up to make it nearly unreadable in areas. I understand they may want to make changes, but I think it is reasonable to expect them to contact the author before doing it. I could have made changes, I always told Sally to let me know if changes were needed to fit the space, etc. This sort of content control doesn’t seem, like many other things, like the America that I grew up in.
Hopefully this site will allow the sort of free speech (no yelling “fire” allowed”) that this country allowed for generations.
