  1. Mel says:

How about deputizing security personnel authorizing them the authority of writing tickets for speeders.

  2. Dave Danson says:

I think the closeness between 3 of the options in the current poll is very interesting. It is interesting that the choice between doing nothing and putting in speed bumps is virtually tied and that the idea of punishing those who speed is favorably looked upon. I wonder, if there is something we can do to punish. Is there a way we can authorize the Sheriff to ticket speeders? Several years back the Board authorized the school busses to use our streets. maybe………. The problem with non-resident speeders is enforcing any fine we levy. However, could we not bar an offender from using our streets. They are private property. Ahhhhh another reason for a gated community.

I’ve always heard about these lawsuits and Sally being involved, but nothing fact base. I’d love to use the great forum for discussion to hear more about this Madame X or anyone else that has first hand knowledge. Could you elaborate Madame X……?

What ever happened to the poll on The Update?

  6. reeda says:

What may I ask did the controversy in the late 90′s and early 2000 have to do with Sally? We were new and the people involved and writing letters to the Lillian etc. were not Sally. Please let me know what you are referring to.

  7. Madame X says:

There has always been a lot of controversy surrounding Sally. Remember that late 90′s and early 2000′s? Homeowners getting sued by the board, lawyer fees, etc.? How much in the end did all that cost? Tens of thousands. Now Jean Corp is back with her two cents. I know many people thought of the Update back then as bordering on yellow journalism. Lots of innuendos and intrigue back then….nothing has changed.

That poll has been up for a very short time maybe an hour or 2 and look at the disparity of opinion
