help_security I just wanted to say I appreciate the job the Security Staff are doing.  I called from out of state earlier today as I could not recall if I locked my shed door.  I was greeted with warm welcome and a "can do" attitude. It was nice to know our staff were familiar with  my property, and a report that was taken nearly one year ago.

Dave, that’s why this is a democracy.

Dale, I agree. Any comments made on the decision made to buy the truck has nothing to do with our security personel. I blame the truck decision on Dannylee, who was made the Board Member in charge of the security project by the former Chairperson, Betty Murphy.

As far as truck vs car vs golf cart, in my opinion either an economical car or an economical truck is OK. Being a “city folk” I have never understood the whole truck thing and in general I feel that a new compact car with a 100,000 mile warrantee and good gas mileage is the best way to go. Cars get both better gas and tire mileage than trucks and as a result are cheaper to operate.

Oops, hit the wrong button to quit too soon. To continue . . . when we make negative comments about the truck. I think we have a fine group of people in this organization.
A quick point on the truck, I do believe a truck (of whatever kind) is better than a car. It is more flexible and allows more items the Staff might need to be carried with them.

This blog looked so lonely I had to post something. I’d like to make sure that our Security group does not think we are criticizing THEM
