We received a message from a property owner recently who had seen a passenger van taxi leaving the Cove. He was wondering if someone has found an inexpensive (under $25) way of getting to the Pensacola Regional Airport. He did not get the full name of the company, but it looked like A—– Airport Taxi.

Most of us use friends or neighbors for the jaunt, but if you have an early morning or late night flight, you hesitate asking. Does anyone have any input on this?

I found a good friend or neighbor will more than likely help you out. Of course paying for gas, lulnch or gift is a nice way of reciprocating.

I believe the appropriate response ism “Practice, practice, practice.”

Or I will take them for $24.99.

That is one way Sally. You have to remember it is a 40+mile trip when you include getting back after the drop off. Also, my son found that he could not use the local company to pick him up on return as they don’t have a pick up license in FL. It is expensive and confusing at best. If it were a regular thing, like my son’s every week it is possible that a lower rate could be negotiated, my son never went that far.

Dave, is that round trip? With all the other add ons at the airport, you can hardly afford to travel any more.

thats less than parking a car for more than 3 days or so……….

My son flies our of Pensacola every week and has checked it out. The rate seems to be around $50.
