Picasa3 is one of the best free photo viewer and imaging editing applications on the Internet. It’s a simple, easy to use, application that includes excellent image editing tools.
Over the years I’ve downloaded and used several free and paid for image editing, programs but I always return to Picasa because it’s a simple easy to use program that’s full of features. Also, Google continues to add new features that helps to make photography fun.
During the installation Picasa it will automatically detect all photos on your computer. Once the detection process is finished you can view your images by double-clicking on a photo. The following toolbar will appear at the top of the Picasa screen:
To manually scroll through your pictures click on the arrow on the very right hand side of the toolbar. Click on the ‘Play’ button on the left hand side of the toolbar to view a slideshow. Images can be deleted by right clicking on a photo and choosing ‘Delete from Disk’ but be careful since it will remove the photo from Picasa and your computer.

On the bottom of the Picasa screen is another toolbar that includes tools to email, create a collage, movie, shop and print, blog and upload your image to Picasa Web Albums for sharing purposes.

It would be nice if you would place the names of individuals in your various pictures so as we could identify who is who in the Cove.
