We find ourselves in need of some auto service and wondered if anyone has used Evans Automotive on US98 just west of Dog Track Road. If so, please tell us if you found it to be good service at a reasonable price.
Recommendations are appreciated for other good auto service companies as well.

Evans Auto is the only place I will take my truck. I feel Curt Evans is fair and does good work. Sorry Blue Angle but I would never take my truck to them for any kind of service.
Our experience with Evans was problematic. Have used Blue Angel and found them less expensive, friendly and thorough.
Pat: Blue Angel Auto is located just south on the corner of Dog Run Road and Blue Angel highway just past the gas station. They advertise in the Update and their phone number is in there if you wish to call them for an appointment before taking your car in.

We have used Evans several times and we thought their prices and work were very good. However, I’ve heard many good comments about Blue Angel, Frank, and I’ve been meaning to try them.
Evans Auto is overpriced and the quality of their work is queestionable. I have had work done at Blue Anel Auto and found their work to be outstanding and their prices to be fair. Cliff at Car Barn in Lillian does excellent mechanical work if you don’t need a computer to fix your car and is very resonable.
I had my truck transmission flushed there and they do a thorough check of your vehicle prior to any other repairs. I would definitely go there again.
