Oh, what a beautiful morning!!! And the rest of the day, too, so we could all enjoy the annual BBQ & Blues sponsored by the Episcopal Church of the Advent. There was some wonderful stuff at the booths. Did you see the gorgeous plants? They could be seen from the road and I’m sure uplifted everyone’s spirits.

There were bajillions of silent auction items. Hope y’all got what you wanted. And the music! Don’t they do a wonderful job?

We had worked at a yard sale all morning, so were anxious to get home. I picked up two to-go portions of the food. Wow! That was enough for an army, however we did manage to consume it all. Not the brownies, though. Had those with ice cream for dinner. Yes, that was the entire dinner. We’re old enough to do things like that now and Denny’s blood sugar didn’t even skyrocket.

All in all, it was a great day in Lillian. If you didn’t get to go this year, put it on the calendar for next year, always the third Saturday in October. The money earned goes to help the church in its various missions in the community. Oh, and no, you don’t have to belong to the church to enjoy the fun, food and fellowship. Just thought I’d throw that in.

Mrs. W said “Lillian is looking better and better” (to a place to retire to). On a second note, I enjoyed the video clip too as it looked like fun, and it was for good cause.

Be nice to see some names under each picture. I don’t know who or what I’m looking at.
