Jim, I appreciated your dedication and professionalism, and it was nice of you to send me the local article from the Lillian Paper as I am not full time resident. I did not know you had left, but wish you well.

Thank you for your kind words Mr. Wilson. I was happy to help you on the two occasions you mention and to mail the newspaper clipping announcing the capture of that copper theif which was apprehened at the Lillian substation some time ago. I figured you'd be interested in learning about it since some wiring was previously stolen from your property in Spanish Cove. Personally, I've never had a "run in" with the fire chief during the (2) years I was security supervisor. Perhaps there's a specific incident which can be traced to poor relations.
(note: In case you hadn't heard, I gave my (2) weeks notice back on July 20th. My last day was on the 31st) J. Haynes

I would like to add to this information. On November 10, 2009 all Security and Butch Price Operation Manager, is going to have a meeting with Lillian Fire Department to establish SOP for your Security Staff when working with the Fire Department. It is important that Security understands HIPPA Law. What we all need to understand, this is not about Security, Fire Department, or any one person, it's about the residents of Spanish Cove (the bigger picture) getting taken care of as quick as possiable.
Once again if you need further information contact
Ron Hafer or get information directly from the Fire Department Ray Hogans Fire Chief.

To the best of my knowledge this is not a true statement. Problems with the Fire Department has gone on for years, even prior to Ray Hogans taking over as Chief. The problems started when HIPPA law which governed privacy of information act.

If anyone wants information regarding this please contact Ron Hafer Security Supervisor

for those who don't know about the tension between Lillian Fire Dept and security of spanish cove.after we took over our own security a while back there was an emergency call in the cove and when Lillian Fire Dept responded there was a gungho person in security who thought he should be telling the fire dept what and how to do their job,so the fire chief ran him off an was told to stay out of their way.
