The Y’all Come Potluck group was not large, but as usual, there was enough food to feed an army. MMMM! Beef stew. A wonderful hot pineapple casserole that Liz Burton and I felt obligated to keep testing until we decided it was bad manners to lick the bowl. Cole slaw and potatoes and sausage and fruit salad and on and on! Of course, there was dessert—pecan pie, cake and teeny little éclairs.
The next Y’all Come event will be held Tuesday, Dec. 8 when all we need to bring is dessert. The pork dinner will cost $5. The menu includes pork over noodles, apple sauce, green beans, salad, coffee and tea. The limit is 50, so call Sandy to make your reservations NOW!
